Spicy Sausage and Pepper Hogie

Ingredients:

  • 2 Teaspoons Olive Oil
  • 10 Italian Sausage Links
  • 1 Green Pepper (Sliced)
  • 1 Red Pepper (Sliced)
  • ½ red onion, sliced
  • 24 Ounces Jar of The Angry Italian Spicy Marinara Sauce
  • Sea Salt
  • Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 10 Sandwich Rolls

Cooking Directions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add sausages and cook, turning occasionally, until evenly browned and cooked through (about 15-20 minutes).
  3. Add remaining ingredients, stir and then cover. Add sea salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Reduce heat to low and cook, uncovered, 10-15 minutes or until peppers are tender.
  5. Remove bay leaf before serving.
  6. Serve on Hogie rolls and enjoy!
